Backup Solutions: 

         Backups are an ever increasing worry for businesses and indeed home users, questions such as:

•  What if my hard drive fails?

•  What if my computer/laptop gets stolen

         Are an ever increasing one we hear in computing.  Imagine having hundreds of documents on your computer/server, then
         your hard drive fail - you've lost it all.  You have to start from scratch.

         For very minimal charges per month, you can have your own automated backup solution, we decide what needs to be
         backed up, how frequently and let the system go to work, no fuss, no worry - just simplified backup.  Obviously individual user
         needs will vary greatly to business needs, so we have outlined below some possible suggestions for implementing individual
         backup and business backup solution:

         Residential backup solutions:

         There are several solutions available to residential users, or users who don't require large backup amounts, some suggestions
         include:

         Online backup - files/folders are assigned to the backup routine, a schedule is created and the backup performed
         automatically.  Files/folders can be retrieved directly from a module which is added to the My Computer - very easy,
         very reliable!

         Local storage - This can be an external Hard drive (Which is becoming more popular), USB pen - very easy to implement,
         but doesn't give you the protection of an online backup solution.

         CD/DVD storage - Almost everyone these days has an internet/external CD/DVD writer - why not make the best use of it. 
         CD/DVD's have come down in price now and for a few pence you can backup your system contents to CD/DVD to ensure
         protection.  Obviously, this could get lost, stolen and over time just become unusable - so again, this isn't as secure as the
         above two options, but the cheapest.

         Business backup solutions:

         There are several solutions available to business users, or users who don't require large backup amounts, some suggestions
         include:

         Online backup - files/folders are assigned to the backup routine, a schedule is created and the backup performed
         automatically.  Files/folders can be retrieved directly from a module which is added to the My Computer - very easy, very
         reliable!  This system can also be set to configure network shares, ensuring ALL your servers are backed up secure and
         reliably.

         Local storage - This can be an external Hard drive, tape drive/library solution - both of these methods ensure that data can
         be backed up locally within your office during the day, you can then remove the backup device at the end of each day and take
         home.  Obviously a tape solution is more practical as it is smaller, but it is more expensive.
